Patient Participation Group

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of Practice patients aged 18 years and over and senior members of staff. The aim is to allow both parties to come together to bring different ideas to improve services and influence the way services are delivered by the Practice. Some key roles are:

  • Enable patients to have a say on how the practice operates.
  • Provide feedback on new systems within the practice such as telephone systems.
  • Act as a sounding board for ideas.
  • Support the practice to provide a high quality of care and service delivery.
